Following completion of the online section of this Manual Handling course, a practical assessment must be carried out to gain full certification.
This can be in a classroom setting or via a TEAMS conference call.
Trainees who complete the e-learning course only, without a practical assessment (those who supervise/risk assess manual handling tasks) are awarded a Manual Handling Safety Awareness Certificate.
Blended Learning
Blended learning requires the completion of the e-learning section of a course online, which provides all the theory knowledge required, followed by an in-person practical assessment either through a conference call or in a classroom setting.
E-Learning
E-Learning courses deliver the information online, and assess the trainees with quizzes and knowledge checks, but involve no practical element. Some E-Learning courses do not require a follow up practical assessment, like Food Safety or Office & Workplace Safety. When courses do require a practical, they are known as blended learning.
